Pleasantville, N.Y. – Senior Cheyenne Grim (Gettysburg, Pa.) followed up an impressive 11 save game with another 14 saves, but the Post University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 affair to New Haven on Saturday afternoon.
Grim had an impressive 11 saves in the first half, but the Chargers scored goals in the sixth and 30th minutes as Emily Morello gave them a 2-0 first half lead.
New Haven tacked on one more goal in the 62nd minute on a goal from Mackenzie Myers in the 62nd minute.
The Eagles had two shots on goal on the day, as sophomore Elice Oman (Pitea, Sweden) and junior Jaylene Souto (Middletown, R.I.) each had a shot stopped by New Haven goalkeeper, Paige Davis.
Up next for the Eagles is their first home game of the season, an out-of-conference matchup against No. 24 Southern New Hampshire on September 5.
