Game One – Dominican 13, Post 8
The afternoon did not get off to a great start for the Eagles as Dominican exploded for an 11-run first inning. The Eagles would not go down without a fight as they got three runs back in the bottom of the first.

Leyri Rivera (Dover, N.J.) singled to open the game and later scored on an error. Senior
Sara Selimovski (Watertown, Conn.) drove home a run on a base hit down the line in left. Back-to-back walks to freshman

Game Two – Dominican 4, Post 2
The Eagles led early in game two, scoring a run in the first on an error. Doubles by Devorin and Schaffer made the score 2-0 in favor of Post through three innings.
Dominican took the lead for good in the fourth as the first two batter doubled to drive in one run. A squeeze attempt by the Chargers failed as McCormack was able to tag out the runner at the pate for the first out of the inning. Another double cleared the bases and gave Dominican a 3-2 advantage. The Chargers added another run in the fifth on an error.
Post threatened in the bottom of the seventh as Devorin smacked a double off the wall in centerfield.
Leyri Rivera lined a single off the pitcher to put runners at the corners with one out. A strikeout and a popup ended the game.
Junior
Leslie Denis (Swanswa, Mass.) threw the first 4.1 and allowed seven hits and four runs while striking out two.
