WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team was defeated by Georgian Court 17-4 on Wednesday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at LaMoy Field.
Juniors
Alana Lopez (Wolcott, Conn.) and
Toni Deren (Greenlawn, N.Y.), senior
Savannah Schwack (Manorville, N.Y.) and freshman
Sydney Hogan (Northford, Conn.) all scored for the Eagles. Deren also tallied two assists while junior
Lauren Chambers (Lebanon, Pa.) added one.
The Eagles won the draw control battle 14-9, led by Deren with six, Schwack also grabbed three. Chambers added two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Lopez and freshman
Noreen Donnelly (Staten Island, N.Y.) each had three ground balls. Donnelly also recorded seven saves.
Post will close out the regular season on Saturday at home against Jefferson. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
