WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team saw its season come to a close with a 25-7 loss to Jefferson at LaMoy Field on Saturday afternoon.
Junior
Toni Deren (Greenlawn, N.Y.) scored three goals to lead the Eagles on the afternoon. She finishes the year with 58 total points (38 goals, 20 assists), the fourth-most in a single season in program history. Freshman
Sydney Hogan (Northford, Conn.) and senior
Savannah Schwack (Manorville, N.Y.) each added two goals.
Senior
Georgia Black (Burlington, Vt.), Deren, and Schwack each grabbed two ground balls as Post had nine on the afternoon. Deren also added two caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Freshman goalkeeper
Noreen Donnelly (Staten Island, N.Y.) made 12 saves on the day. She recorded 200 stops on the year to lead the CACC and currently sits first in NCAA DII.
