LYNDHURST, N.J. – The Post University lacrosse team was defeated by Felician 9-7 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup on Tuesday night in Lyndhurst, N.J. The Eagles are now 2-10 overall and 2-2 in CACC play with two games remaining.
Felician controlled the first quarter as it pulled in front 5-0. The Eagles responded with four goals in the second to get back into the game. Freshman
Ryan Beaulieu (Salem, N.H.) began the scoring as he forced a turnover and quickly beat the keeper. After a Golden Falcons penalty, senior
Kyle Hewlett (Bridgeport, Conn.) scored on the extra-man opportunity.
Junior
Sean Olsen (Old Bridge, N.J.) and Hewlett each scored down the stretch in the second to make the score 5-4 at halftime.

Frank Nichols Jr. (Carlsbad, Calif.) for the tying goal midway through the third quarter, but the Eagles allowed two more in the quarter and trailed 7-5 through three. The teams traded goals in the fourth quarter as Post was unable to comeback.
Freshman
Miles Savage (Highland Lakes, N.J.) had his best game of the season in the face-off circle, winning 12-of-15 chances. Beaulieu added a team-high six ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Post will close out CACC play on Saturday in its final home game against Georgian Court. Face-off is set for 4 p.m.
