WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team fell to Nyack 21-9 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup at LaMoy Field on Tuesday afternoon. Freshman Sydney Hogan (Northford, Conn.) led the Eagles with four goals on the day.

The day started off well for Post. After allowing an early goal to Nyack, senior Savannah Schwack (Manorville, N.Y.) found Hogan for a goal to tie the game. Schwack finished with two goals and two assists. Junior Gabriela Middleton (Coral Springs, Fla.) put the Eagles ahead 2-1 with 18:17 to go in the first.

The Warriors quickly tied the game, but sophomore Kalena Mueller (San Ramon, Calif.) forced a turnover off the ensuing draw control and scored her first-career goal to give the Eagles a 3-2 lead.

Nyack scored the next nine goals to take control of the game. Post made a run late in the half to pull within five at 12-7, but trailed 15-7 at the break. Hogan and Schwack each scored for the Eagles in the second.
