WORCESTER, Mass. – The Post University men's lacrosse team fell to Assumption 10-3 in Worcester, Mass. on Friday night.
After a goal by the Greyhounds, the Eagles answered back quickly as senior
Dominick Parente (Monroe Township, N.J.) tied the game 1-1 with his third goal of the season. Freshman
Ryan Beaulieu (Salem, N.H.) setup the scoring chance by forcing a turnover on the other end.
The Eagles were unable to score again until the fourth quarter when sophomore
Corey Auten (Stratford, Conn.) and junior
Sean Olsen (Old Bridge, N.J.) scored back-to-back to make it 10-3.
Sophomore goaltender
Manuele D'Alessio (Mount Laurel, N.J.) made 20 saves on the night. Junior
Stefan Ceconi (New Milford, Conn.) had a season-best three caused turnovers.
Post returns to action on Tuesday on the road at St. Michael's. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
