COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Post University men's lacrosse team fell to St. Michael's 12-3 on Tuesday afternoon at Duffy Field in Colchester, Vt.
The day started off well for the Eagles as senior

Dominick Parente (Monroe Township, N.J.) midway through the first to put Post in front 1-0. St. Michael's answered with two goals of its own. Sophomore
Corey Auten (Stratford, Conn.) tied the game 2-2 with five seconds left in the quarter off a pass from junior
Sean Olsen (Old Bridge, N.J.)
The Purple Knights took control of the game in the second as they scored six goals in the first five minutes to jump in front 8-2 and held that lead at the half. Down 9-2 with 6:16 to play in the third, Nichols connected with Parente for a goal once again, but the Eagles were unable to score again.
Sophomore goaltender
Manuele D'Alessio (Mount Laurel, N.J.) made a season-high 24 saves. Junior
Paul Bossardet (Gales Ferry, Conn.) grabbed four ground balls. Senior
Mike Brumber (Hicksville, N.Y.) and freshman
Ryan Beaulieu (Salem, N.H.) each had two ground balls and a team-best two caused turnovers.
Post returns to action on Wednesday, April 4 at No. 14 LIU Post. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
