WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's lacrosse team was defeated by #18 St. Anselm 19-2 on Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
Sophomore
Jake Bova (Trumbull, Conn.) scored twice for the Eagles in his first-career start on attack. Junior
Sean Olsen (Old Bridge, N.J.) and senior
Frank Nichols Jr. (Carlsbad, Calif.) each had an assist. Olsen and sophomore
Corey Auten (Stratford, Conn.) each grabbed five ground balls as the Eagles finished with 29 on the day.
Freshman goaltender
Giorgio D'Angelo (Highland, N.Y.) made 25 saves in goal, the second-most in a single game in Post lacrosse history.
Post will play its first road game of the season on Tuesday at Southern New Hampshire. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
