WINCHENDON, Mass. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated Franklin Pierce 9-0 on Friday night at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena in Winchendon, Mass.
 
Sophomores Julia Schatz (East Haven, Conn.) and Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) each had two shots to lead the way for the Eagles. Brumfield also had a team-high seven face-off wins.
 
The Ravens scored six times in the second period to put the game out of reach.
 
Goaltenders Ashlynn Neurauter (Kamloops, British Columbia) and Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) combined to make 49 saves on the night.
 
Post and Franklin Pierce will return to action tomorrow afternoon in the Eagles' regular season finale. Puck drops at 3 p.m.
