SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was fell to St. Michael's 4-1 on Saturday afternoon in its regular season home final at the SportsCenter of Shelton. Freshman
Ann Margaret DiSciscio (Litchfield, N.H.) scored her team-leading 10
th goal of the season in the loss.
The Eagles allowed two goals in each of the first two periods. Freshman goaltender Danaée St-Germain (Metcalfe, Ontario) stopped 37 shots over the stretch and finished with 51 saves as she held the Purple Knights scoreless in the third.
DiSciscio tallied her goal with 6:09 to go in the second. Sophomore
Sierra Alarid (Cheyenne, Wyo.) and freshman
Kayleigh Miller (Braselton, Ga.) assisted on the score. Alarid recorded a helper in each of the Eagles' games this weekend.
Post closes the regular season out next weekend at Franklin Pierce beginning Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
