PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Post University men's basketball team fell to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South rival USciences 68-57 on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. Sophomore

The Devils led from start to finish, but Post was able to stick around all afternoon. USciences opened its largest lead of the first half at 22-12, forcing a timeout by Post. Three pointers by senior

Darrick Boyd (Springfield, Mass.) bookended an 8-2 Eagles run to trim the deficit to just four points with 5:34 remaining in the half. USciences led 33-26 at the break.
After falling behind by eight to start the second, Post battled back to pull within one point after a fast break layup by Boyd with 14:09 to go made the score 45-44. The Eagles were never able to get any closer as the Devils used an 11-2 run from there to widen the gap back to double-digits.
Boyd finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Desrosiers added 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
The Eagles shot just five free throws, while USciences was 16-of-16 from the line, including 14 in the second half.
Post returns to action Tuesday night at Dominican. Tip-off in Orangeburg, N.Y. is set for 7:30 p.m.
