Orangeburg, N.Y. - The Eagles only trailed by three points at the half but allowed the Chargers of Dominican to shoot 17-34 (50%) from the field in the second half and lost 79-68.
The Chargers attacked the Eagles in many different ways and ended the game with five players in double figures. Dominican's leading scorer, Daraja Rodwell, went for 21 points.
For the Eagles, Tyshon Rogers (21) and Isaiah Holmes (11) each scored in double figures. Rogers added nine rebounds and two steals while Holmes contributed three assists and three steals. Rogers ranks second in the CACC with 20.6 points per game and first in the CACC with 3.4 steals per game.
Marcus Johnson played a solid all-around game, scoring eight points with five rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
