The Eagles earned home court by finishing first in their side of the conference this seasonĀ and home court advantage was on full display against Wilmington. It was an electric atmosphere throughout all three sets.Ā

Post had their most efficient set in the first, converting kills at 27%. The Eagles used a five point rally at the conclusion of the set to come back from a 23-20 deficit. The flurry of points was led by two kills from Rylie Arms and an ace by Madison Hunziker.Ā

The second set picked up where the first left off. Post jumped out to a quick 11-1 lead thanks to seven errors by Wilmington. Arms led the Eagles in the second set with three kills and two aces, while Ashley Levatino added two kills in the set.Ā

The third set was a battle for the Eagles. In fact, they never enjoyed a lead until the score reached 25-24. The score was tied eight different times in the set and Post went down by three points or more three separate times, but continued to battle back. The match ended when Brianna Root set up Rylie Arms for the game's final point.Ā
