In a matchup between the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference regular season division champions, the Eagles won a dominant first set before dropping the next three to the Tigers.
Post, the North Division champion finishes its regular season at 16-14 overall and 13-6 in the CACC. Holy Family, the South Division champion finished the regular season 26-5 and a CACC best 18-1. The Tigers have won 18 straight games.

- Prior to the game, four Eagles were honored for Senior Day. Seniors Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.), Madison Hunziker (Sacramento, Calif.), Sarah Seger (Yorktown Heights, N,Y.) and Nakajai Mills (Meriden, Conn.) were all acknowledged before the game, and all were in the starting lineup for the regular season finale.
- Hunziker finished the game with a team-high ten kills. Seger had eight. Hunziker finishes the season fifth in the CACC in kills per set with 3.45 and sixth in kills with 345.
- Mills finished the match with two kills and a .667 attack percentage, a team-high.
- Root had a team-high 25 assists to add to her all-time Post record.
- In the set one win, the Eagles increased a small 4-3 lead to an overwhelming 15-7 lead after an 11-4 run, including two instances where they scored four straight points. Six different Eagles had kills during the set.
- A comeback fell short in the third set, as the Eagles fell behind 22-14 before scoring seven of the next eight points and closing the gap to 23-21 before the Tigers scored the final two points.
