Sophomore Brandon Brown (Hanahan, S.C.) had a career high 51 saves in the loss for the Eagles, including 23 in the second period in the loss.

The Skyhawks scored two goals in the second period and tacked on three more in the third for insurance.

• Post had 27 shots on goal, with juniors Tyler Hackett (Branford, Conn.) and Lucas Smith (Calgary, Alberta) leading the way with five shots apiece.
• Anthony Giacomin led all Eagles in faceoff wins with eight. Stonehill won the faceoff battle between the teams, 40-37.
