The Post University women's volleyball team snapped its six game winning streak in a loss to Caldwell on Saturday afternoon.
Senior
Madison Hunziker (Sacramento, Calif.) had 14 kills and freshman
Rylie Arms (Gilbert, Ariz.) had 13 kills and two blocks.
Things To Know
- The loss puts the Eagles at 15-13 overall and 12-5 in the CACC. They have clinched at least a tie with Caldwell (11-16, 10-7 CACC) for the regular season CACCÂ North title.
- Hunziker is both fifth in the CACC at 3.48 kills per set and kills with 324.
- Senior Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.) had 42 assists to lead all players. She is third in the CACCÂ with 9.38 assists per set.
- Arms currently has a .340 hitting percentage, which is tied for tops in the CACC.
- The Eagles won the first set thanks in large part to a 5-1 run when they were down 16-15 to take a 20-17 lead that they would never relinquish. Arms had two kills during the run.
What's Next? The Eagles take on Dominican in a CACCÂ road game on October 31 at 7 p.m. for a chance to clinch the outright CACCÂ North regular season title.
