SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team fell to Sacred Heart 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Rinks at Shelton. Sophomore goaltender
Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) made 50 saves for the Eagles.
Post was able to keep the Pioneers off the board until a power-play goal with 6:50 to go in the first period. Sacred Heart scored twice in the second and added another goal in the third.
The Eagles managed 13 shots on the night led by sophomores
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) and
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) with three each.
Post is back at it on Friday night at Saint Anselm. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
