SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated by Sacred Heart 10-0 on Friday night at the SportsCenter of Connecticut in Shelton.
Sacred Heart put the game away with seven goals in the first period. The Eagles best period was the third as it tallied a game-high 10 shots to the Pioneers 13 attempts. Sophomore
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) led Post with four shots on the night, all in the third.
Freshman goaltender Danaée St-Germain (Metcalfe, Ontario) stopped 33 shots after taking over for classmate
Ashlynn Neurauter (Kamloops, British Columbia) who made 12 stops.
Post and Sacred Heart will square off again tomorrow in Shelton. Puck drops at 4 p.m.
