SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated by Franklin Pierce 8-1 on Saturday afternoon at the SportsCenter of Connecticut. Freshman
Ann Margaret DiSciscio (Litchfield, N.H.) scored her team-leading eighth goal of the year.
DiSciscio put the Eagles on the board off an assist from freshman
Savanna Stevenson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) with 12:41 to go in the game. Both have now recorded points in the two of the last three games.

Ashlynn Neurauter (Kamloops, British Columbia) stopped 60 shots for the Eagles. Post had 13 shots, led by DiSciscio with three. Sophomore
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) and freshman
Sydney Hogan (Northford, Conn.) each added two shots.
The Eagles return to the ice on Tuesday night at Becker at the Worcester Ice Center in Worcester, Mass. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
