MANCHESTER, Conn. – The Post University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Trinity Bantam Invitational on Saturday at Wickham Park in Manchester, Conn. The men's team finished seventh place while the women captured eighth place overall.
 
Graduate student Ryan Acey (Plainville, Conn.) placed 10^th overall out of 116 runners on the 5K course with a time of 17:21.8. Freshman Georgios Moukas (Athens, Greece) finished 49^th at 18:27.3. Classmate Tyler Hayward (Naugatuck, Conn.) clocked in at 19:17.5, good for 62^nd.
 
Sophomore Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) was fourth place of 94 in the women's 5K at 20:07.9. Junior Akia Callum (Brooklyn, N.Y.) placed 57^th, clocking in at 24:01.0.
 
Next up for the Eagles is the Wesleyan Invitational in Middletown, Conn. on Friday, Sept. 15.
