Aolani Hermosura (Stamford, Conn.) scored twice for the Eagles on the day.
Junior
Toni Deren (Greenlawn, N.Y.) tallied her 21
st goal of the year to put the Eagles on the board midway through the first half. Senior
Nicole Evans (Cortland, N.Y.) won the ensuing draw. Deren found freshman
Leona Stevens (Kingston, Mass.) quickly for a goal to make the score 8-2 in favor of the Griffins.
Hermosura scored her first of the game with 11 minutes to go in the first and the Eagles trailed 15-3 at the half. She and junior
Savannah Schwack (Manorville, N.Y.) each had goals in the second half.
Post had 11 ground balls on the day and Hermosura and senior
Brina Yanez (West Haven, Conn.) each had three. Junior
Georgia Black (Burlington, Vt.) recorded a season-high three caused turnovers. Freshman goaltender
Alana Lopez (Wolcott, Conn.) made seven saves.
The Eagles return home for Senior Day on Tuesday against Caldwell. Opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
