FLUSHING, N.Y. – The #5 Post University men's tennis team was defeated by top-seeded Queens 5-1 on Sunday afternoon in the NCAA East Regional Final at the Queens College Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
Sophomore
Ivan Rajevac (Dubrovnik, Croatia) and freshman
Samuel Urban (Košice, Slovakia) defeated Cosme Jubera and Jui Mao at No. 2 doubles 8-6 to earn the Eagles' lone point in the match.
At No. 1 singles, junior
Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) was ahead of Sharvill Nawghre, the third-ranked player in the region, 7-5, 3-0 when the match was clinched by Queens.
The Eagles finish the season with an overall record of 13-10, the most wins in a single-season in team history.
