PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Post University men's tennis team was defeated by top-seeded Chestnut Hill 5-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship on Sunday afternoon at the CHC Tennis Courts in Philadelphia.
The No. 1 doubles duo of juniors
Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) and
Ludvig Henrikson (Taby, Sweden) came the closest to securing a point for the Eagles with an 8-6 loss to Pierre Kohler and Jonathan Ducretot. Freshman
Joe Alvord (Southbury, Conn.) and sophomore
Peter Rossel (Vienna, Austria) fell to Felix Andre and Antoine Gautier 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.
Down 3-0 in the match, sophomore
Ivan Rajevac (Dubrovnik, Croatia) and Alvord fell at No. 3 and No. 6 singles to give the Griffins the championship.

Samuel Urban (Košice, Slovakia) were named to the All-Tournament team for their efforts during the weekend.
Post, which is currently ranked fifth in the East Region, will await its NCAA Tournament fate as the brackets are announced on Tuesday night at 8:30. The top seven teams in the region advance into the postseason.
