Joey Picone (Washingtonville, N.Y.) went 3-for-5 with a run and junior
Don Walsh (Hamilton, N.J.) went 2-for-4 with a run, but the Southern Connecticut State University Owls scored a run in the bottom of the eighth to tie the Post University baseball team, 6-6 on Monday afternoon.
The Eagles went in to the top of the seventh down 5-2, but rallied, starting with a wild pitch that scored Picone. The Eagles then used a lot of patience at the plate as sophomore Mike Munson (Plainville, Conn.), junior

Kwan Jones (Easthampton, N.J.) and senior
Drew Deangelis (Robbinsville, N.J.) drew consecutive walks that scored two runs. Jones and Deangelis were each credited with an RBI on their walks to tie the game.
After a pitching change, an RBI groundout by redshirt freshman
Mike Grasso (Wyckoff, N.J.) plated Wright to give the Eagles a 6-5 lead.
The Owls would score a run in the bottom of the eighth as Greg Zullo tripled to score Jim Palmer to tie the game at 6-6. The game was called after the eighth inning.
After being down 2-0 early, the Eagles scored a run in the top of the fifth, sophomore
Rosario Missiti (Belmont, Mass.) singled to score Grasso. The Eagles would tack on a run in the sixth on a wild pitch that scored Jones.
The Eagles pitching staff struck out seven batters. Junior
