Holly Springs, N.C. – Junior Don Walsh (Hamilton, N.J.) showed his power once again as the Post University baseball team defeated LeMoyne, 4-2 on Saturday morning, giving the Eagles their first win of the season.
 
Walsh also homered in the team's first game on Friday.
 
With the game tied, 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Walsh took a pitch from Barnes to right field over the wall to give the Eagles the 3-1 lead. Sophomore John Cartagena (Danbury, Conn.) scored on the homer.
 
After LeMoyne's place hit a solo homer in the top of the eighth made it a 3-2 Post lead, senior Rupert House (Spokane, Wash.) gave the Eagles a little insurance with an RBI single to score Cartagena, Jr.
 
Sophomore Mike Munson (Plainville, Conn.) pitched a scoreless ninth to get the save for the Eagles. Starter Enzo Esposito (Hamilton, N.J.) pitched four innings, giving up one earned run on three hits and four walks. He struck out six. Sophomore Corey Brosz (Danbury, Conn.) got the win in two innings of relief for the Eagles.
 
LeMoyne got on the board early with an RBI double by Camillo Spinoso in the top of the second to give the Dolphins a 1-0 lead.
 
Wright would the game in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI double that scored sophomore Rosario Missiti (Belmont, Mass.).
 
Walsh finished with two RBI on the day. Cartagena, Jr. was 2-for-5 with two runs scored.
