Holly Springs, N.C. – Sophomore Rosario Missiti (Belmont, Mass.) scored two runs and drove in a run, but the Post University baseball team lost a 16-7 game to East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Eagles were down 12-2 heading into the top of the eighth, but rallied to score five runs to cut the deficit to 12-7.
 
Senior Drew Deangelis (Robbinsville, N.J.) doubled to drive in junior Don Walsh (Hamilton, N.J.) to begin the rally. After MIssiti drove in a run on a ground out, freshman Kwan Jones (Easthampton, N.J.) drove in Deangelis on an RBI single. A ball misplayed in the infield off the bat of sophomore John Cartagena, Jr. (Danbury, Conn.) allowed two more runs to score to cap the rally.
 
East Stroudsburg would score four more runs in the bottom half of the eighth to seal the win.
 
Cartagena, Jr. finished the game 1-for-5 with an RBI. Rupert House (Spokane, Wash.) was 2-for-2 – and drew two walks - with a run.
 
The two teams will meet again Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
