SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated at home by Lebanon Valley 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Rinks at Shelton.
Freshman
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) had 10 shots on goal to lead the Eagles. Post's best opportunity to score came early in the third period as the goaltender was pulled during a delayed penalty against the Dutchmen. The Eagles managed four shots during the stretch.
Freshman
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) won 17 face offs and had five shots. Goaltender
Mikaella Doran (Eden Mills, Vt.) made 51 saves.
The Eagles return home for the final time this season on Friday, Feb. 17 against Sacred Heart. Puck drops at 8 p.m.
