Tyler Desrosiers (Agawam, Mass.) scored 20 points to lead the Eagles.

Jason Nunez (Harlem, N.Y.) after Yellow Jacket turnovers cut the deficit to 42-34 with 14:56 remaining.
American International built another double-digit lead later and held onto it for most of the rest of the game. Down 63-48 with 5:00 to go, the Eagles hit their next five shots to pull within five with just over a minute left. Desrosiers scored five during the run and had 15 points in the second half. A late three by the senior made the score 70-67 with seven seconds left before a late free throw by AIC put the game out of reach.
Freshman
Darrick Boyd (Springfield, Mass.) scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds on the night. Nunez added 10 points, three assists, and two steals. Washington and junior
Justin Iton (Englewood, N.J.) each added eight points off the bench, while Iton also pulled down eight rebounds.
Post returns to action tomorrow afternoon on the road at Saint Anselm. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
