Lakewood, N.J. – The Post University women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 match to Georgian Court in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Eagles are 5-11 overall and 5-6 in the CACC. They are, however, qualified for the CACC tournament.
The Eagles lone goal was an own goal in the 66th minute as a ball was headed in by Georgian Court.
Lizzy Kroon scored the first two goals for the Lions (12-3-2, 11-0 CACC) in the 12th and 55th minute. Heather Arbachesky scored the last two goals in the 56th and 65th minute.
Freshman Imelda Lazaro (Norwalk, Conn.) had five saves for the Eagles in 75 minutes of action. Freshman Fenna Marse (Hilversum, Netherlands) and senior Sam Rodriguez (Wayne, N.J.) each had two shots apiece for Post.
Up next for the Eagles is their final CACC match of the year, a home game against Bloomfield at 3 p.m. on October 24.
