Eagles Women’s Ice Hockey Falls to UMass Boston at Codfish Bowl

Post will play Stevenson in consolation game Tuesday

BOSTON, Mass. – The Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated by host UMass Boston 10-0 on Monday afternoon at the 10th Annual Codfish Bowl.
 
Freshmen goalies Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) and Mikaella Doran (Eden Mills, Vt.) combined for 66 saves on 76 total shots. Doran came on in relief and made 28 saves on 31 shots over the final 30:39.
 
Freshman Olivia Dupree (Centerport, N.Y.) led the Eagles with two shots on goal and fellow freshman Julia Schatz (East Haven, Conn.) was credited with 13 of the team's 30 blocked shots. Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, B.C.) won a team-high six face offs.
 
The Eagles will play Stevenson in the consolation game on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
