Post Women’s Ice Hockey Defeated by Stevenson

Eagles visit Neumann next for weekend series

BOSTON, Mass. – The Post University women's ice hockey team fell to Stevenson 13-0 on Tuesday afternoon in the consolation game of the Codfish Bowl hosted by UMass Boston.
 
Freshmen goalies Samantha Griswold (Park City, Utah and Mikaella Doran (Eden Mills, Vt.) combined for 62 saves on 75 total shots.
 
Freshman Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) had three of the Eagles' five shots on the day. Classmates Julia Schatz (East Haven, Conn.) and Olivia Dupree (Centerport, N.Y.) each added a shot. Schatz also won 12 face offs.
 
The Eagles will play at Neumann on Friday, Jan. 7 at 4 p.m.
