ASHLAND, Wisc. – The Post University women's ice hockey team fell to Northland College 7-0 in Ashland, Wisc. on Friday. The two teams will be back in action tomorrow afternoon.
The Eagles had nine shots on goal on the day led by freshman Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) with four shots. Classmate Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) added three shots and won a game-high 15 face-offs.
Freshman goaltender Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau, Minn.) made 60 saves.
The Eagles and the Lumberjills will return to action tomorrow. Puck drops at 3 p.m.
