ASHLAND, Wisc. –The Post University women's ice hockey team fell to Northland 9-0 on Saturday in Ashland, Wisc.
Freshman
Sierra Alarid (Cheyenne, Wyo.) had a shot in each period and finished with a team high three shots on goal on the night. A trio of Eagles had two shots as senior
Brina Yanez (West Haven, Conn.) and freshmen
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) and
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) each achieved the feat.
Freshman goaltender
Mikaella Doran (Eden Mills, Vt.) recorded 30 shots in the second period and 68 total in the game, the third time she's recorded over 60 saves this season.
The Eagles round out their 12-game road trip on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Franklin Pierce. Puck drops at 8 p.m.
