Hailey Griffin carved up the Golden Falcons defense with a team high 10 kills and 14 digs on the defensive end.
Griffin also hit a team high .625 and sophomore
Sarah Seger (Yorktown Heights, N.Y) had 10 kills of her own with a .562 hitting percentage.
Felician was knocked back after Post jumped out to a 11-2 lead as they dominated the first set 25-9. The Eagles were led by Seger (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) who tallied a team high 6 kills in the first.Â
The second set was more of the same as the Eagles flew past their competition taking the set 25-10.In the third set the Eagles put the pedal to the metal as they won in dominating fashion 25-7. Â When German hit the service line, she was able to aid Post toward six consecutive points putting the match out of reach.
Post captured its ninth consecutive victory, tying a program record set in 2004. Next game for the Eagles will be on Thursday at home against Bentley at 7 p.m.
