BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Post University men's soccer team fell in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at Concordia 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles outshot the Clippers 13-9 in the loss.
"We are battling through injuries right now and had six starters out today. The guys are playing well enough to win we just are not finishing on the chances we are getting. We are looking forward to everyone getting healthy and back out there," said head coach

The game remained scoreless for the first 30 minutes, but the Eagles had some early chances as two shots were blocked and junior
Kenu Walker (Kingston, Jamaica) had a shot saved by Concordia goalkeeper Jaime Gonzalez. The Clippers got on the board as Nabeel Qawasmi booted home a rebound.
Post came out strong in the second half and outshot the Clippers 4-0 and had four corner kicks over the first 15 minutes. In the 69
th minute Ovan Oakley scored on a chip pass from Qawasmi to put Concordia ahead 2-0.

Abdallah Bah (St. Paul, Minn.) led Post with three shots on the day. Goalkeeper
Jon Hanlon (Centereach, N.Y.) made four saves.
The Eagles close out their season-opening eight game road trip on Saturday, Sept. 24 against Holy Family. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
