Manchester, N.H. - The Post University baseball team dropped a 6-0 game to No. 20 Southern New Hampshire in an out of conference game on Friday afternoon.
Southern New Hampshire scored three runs in the first, capped by a two-run single by Derek Bauer. They also addded two more runs in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run double by Lorenzo Papa.
The Eagles had two hits in the game, threatening briefly in the eighth when freshman
Andrew Avots (South Brunswick, N.J.) reached third base after he doubled earlier in the inning.
Starting freshman Brett Pisanseschi (East Quogue, N.Y.) pitched 6.2 innings, giving up six runs - four earned - on five hits and eight walks while striking out five.
Up next for the Eagles is a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader against USciences on Sunday at Naugatuck High School. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
