MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's tennis team defeated Roberts Wesleyan 6-3 at Edgewood Bath & Tennis on Friday afternoon. Both teams entered the match ranked in the top-10 in the East Region. The Redhawks are currently eighth in the East, while the Eagles are ninth.

Ludvig Henrikson (Taby, Sweden) earned an 8-3 win at No. 2 over Rene Torti and Gui Plentz de Liz.
Both teams battled hard in singles as three matches went to a decisive third set. Sophomore
Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) defeated Charles Farres 6-7, 6-0, 10-6 in the top spot. Sophomore
Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain) grabbed a 6-4, 6-3 win over Robert Beer at No. 2.
In No. 3 singles, Henrikson won 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 over Jose Lopez Tapia. Fanous defeated Torti in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. Senior
Vladyslav Dyenyezhka (Kharkiv, Ukraine) grabbed a three-set victory over Plentz de Liz 6-4, 1-6, 10-8.
Post is back in action today on the road against Philadelphia at 6:30 p.m.
