Nyack, N.Y. - The Post University baseball team dropped an 18-0 game to Nyack on Saturday in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.

The Warriors took a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning and tacked on four more in the sixth inning to effectively put the game away. They added six more runs in the sixth and five in the ninth.

Yoni Rodriguez led the way for the Warriors, going 2-for-4 with five RBI and three runs during the game. He hit a three-run homer in the top of the eighth to give the Warriors a 13-0 lead. Ruben Correa was 3-for-6 with three RBI and four runs scored. Jesse Barton also had three RBI for Nyack.

Offensively, the Eagles were led by junior Joey Picone (Washingtonville, N.Y.) and sophomore Don Walsh (Hamilton, N.J.), who each had two hits. The team finished with six hits.

Sophomore Nick Arnold (West Islip, N.Y.) got the loss for the Eagles, pitching 5.2 innings, giving up seven runs – six earned – on six hits and three walks while striking out six. Freshman Mike Munson (Plainville, Conn.) struck out four in two innings of relief.
