Men’s Tennis Drops Tough 5-4 Match to USciences

Crvelin Stays Undefeated In CACC Singles





 
WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's tennis team fell to USciences 5-4 on Friday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, Conn.
 
The Eagles grabbed one point in doubles as senior Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and sophomore Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain) defeated Tanner Kerr and Chandat Phan 8-2 at No. 2. It marked the first time Munoz and Fanous has been a doubles team this season.
 
Sophomore Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) stayed undefeated in CACC singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Jake Sosonkin at No. 1. Munoz grabbed a 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 win at No. 2 over Borna Novak. Sophomore Ludvig Henrikson (Taby, Sweden) also defeated Kerr 6-2, 6-1.
 
Post is back at home on Saturday afternoon against Chestnut Hill. First serve at Edgewood Bath & Tennis is set for 1 p.m.
