Eagles Tennis Falls At Home To SNHU, 7-2

Munoz Takes Singles and Doubles Matches





MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by Southern New Hampshire on Thursday afternoon at Edgewood Bath & Tennis. The Eagles entered the match ranked ninth in the East Region while the Penmen are 10th in the East.
 
Sophomores Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) and Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain) grabbed an 8-5 victory in No. 2 doubles over Xavier Aubron and Jeremy Reichentahl. Senior Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and sophomore Ludvig Henrikson (Taby, Sweden) dropped a tough 9-7 match in top doubles.
 
Munoz earned the Eagles only singles victory with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Miguel Marreiros at No. 2
 
Post is back in action tomorrow afternoon against USciences at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, Conn. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
