PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Post University women's lacrosse team was defeated 26-2 at Holy Family in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup on Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore
Toni Deren (Greenlawn, N.Y.) scored the first goal for the Eagles early in the first half after a turnover by the Tigers. Senior
Jordyn Woltmann (Lake Grove, N.Y.) added a goal later in the half as she scored on a rebound off a shot by junior
Nicole Evans (Cortland, N.Y.)
Woltmann picked up a team-high three ground balls. Sophomore
Dominique Woods (Hartford, Conn.) had three caused turnovers and grabbed two ground balls. Freshman goalkeeper
Rachel Lancaster (Plainville, Conn.) made nine saves.
The Eagles will visit Dominican on Saturday afternoon. Opening draw is set for noon.
