BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team was defeated by in-state rival Bridgeport 14-1 on Wednesday afternoon to finish its six-game road trip.
 
Late in the first half, junior Nicole Evans (Cortland, N.Y.) forced a Purple Knights' turnover and quickly scored for the Eagles. Post trailed 12-1 at the break.
 
The Eagles had seven shots and four free-position attempts in the second half but were unable to tack on another goal.
 
Sophomore Sam Rodriguez (Wayne, N.J.) led Post with six shots, four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two draw controls.,
 
Post returns home for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup on Wednesday, March 30 against Nyack. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
