NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team lost a non-conference road game 18-0 at Southern Connecticut on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles are now 0-5 on the young season.
Post managed to take five shots on the day with three coming on goal. Sophomore
Toni Deren (Greenlawn, N.Y.) led the Eagles with four shots. Groundballs were close with the Owls holding a slim 21-19 advantage.
Freshman
Monica Kochurin (Manassas, Va.) picked up six groundball and had a team-high two caused turnovers. Junior
Nicole Evans (Cortland, N.Y.) won three draw controls.
Southern Connecticut scored 14 of its 18 goals in the first half.
The Eagles open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Monday at Caldwell. Opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
