Post Men’s Tennis Defeated At Queens 9-0

Eagles 2-5 on the season

Results 

QUEENS, N.Y. – The Post University men's tennis team fell to Queens 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon in its first match back after its trip to Florida. The Eagles are 2-5 on the young season.
 
The doubles duo of sophomores Nikola Crvelin (Kaštel Lukšic, Croatia) and Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain) played close against Gabriel Mendez and Lucas Martinez in No. 2 doubles, but fell 8-5. Post was defeated 8-2 in the other two doubles matches.
 
Crvelin was beaten by Sharvill Nawghre 6-1, 6-0 in top singles. Munoz fell 6-1, 6-3 in in second singles. Post was defeated in straight sets in each singles match. Senior Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) took a game in each set against Mendez but fell 6-1, 6-1.
 
The Eagles hit the courts against West Chester on Saturday afternoon. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
