WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's basketball team was fell to St. Anselm 91-55 at home on Friday afternoon in a non-conference clash. The Eagles finish the 2016 calendar year with a 5-8 record.

Tyler Desrosiers (Agawam, Mass.) led Post with 11 points. Senior
Malcolm Amos (Brookport, Ill.) added 10 points.
Post stuck with the Hawks in the first half, but trailed by 12 midway through. With 10:04 left, a corner jumper by senior
Damani Ashton (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) sparked a 6-0 run for the Eagles as they cut the deficit to 25-19. Desrosiers scored on a back-to-back trips down the floor during the stretch.
St. Anselm would jump in front by 11 later in the half, but Post answered and a Desrosiers layup in the closing seconds sent the Eagles into the break trailing 36-30.
