SHELTON, Conn. – For the second day in a row, the Post University women's ice hockey team was defeated by Franklin Pierce 11-0 at the SportsCenter of Connecticut on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles fall to 0-6 on the young season.
Freshman
Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, B.C.) had a team-high three shots of the Eagles eight shots on goal on the afternoon. Classmate
Molly Brumfield (Columbus, Ohio) added two shots and won a game-high 11 faceoffs.
Goaltender
Samantha Griswold (Park City, Utah) made 44 saves.
Post returns to action at home on Saturday, Dec. 3 against Southern Maine. Puck drops in Shelton, Conn. at 2:15 p.m.
