WATERBURY, Conn.- Post Volleyball dominated play at the Drubner Center on Wednesday to take a commanding two game lead over Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Bloomfield with a 3-0 victory over the Bears. Eagles move to 15-1 in the CACC and 22-3 overall. Bloomfield is now 18-11 overall and 14-3 in conference play. Tonight's victory marked the Eagles' 13
th in a row overall and 19
th consecutive at home.

Morgan Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) led Post with 17 kills while
Skylar German (Kansas City, Mo.) tallied eight kills, five aces and a team-high 18 digs. Sophomore
Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.) put up 45 assists to go with 13 digs.
In the first set the Eagles grabbed control with a massive 10-1 run, not even a Bloomfield run could stop the bleeding as Post added another 4-1 spurt later on in the set and rolled to 25-14 win. Â
The second set was the closest of the night. Bloomfield came out and held an 11-10 lead in the middle before Post rallied to the tune of a 5-1 run giving itself a lead it would not look back from.
Morgan Griffin recorded two of the last three kills for the Eagles as they took the second set 25-22.
In the third, German had the hot hand as he recorded three of her five aces in a 6-0 run that built up a 19-12 lead for the Eagles. Bloomfield answered with six straight to cut the deficit to one, but the comeback fell short. Post notched six of the match's last seven points taking the third 25-19.
Post returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Felician. Game time in Rutherford, N.J. is set for 1 p.m.
