SHELTON, Conn. – The Post University men's ice hockey team defeated Central Connecticut State for the second time in as many games on Friday night 10-2 at the SportsCenter of Connecticut. Freshman
Steven McHale (Sarasota, Fla.) recorded a hat trick in the victory.

The Blue Devils struck first with a goal midway through the first period, but their lead didn't last as senior
Trevor Buchas (Bristol, Conn.) scored his first of two goals on the night on a breakaway just 18 seconds later to tie the game. Freshman

Lucas Smith (Calgary, Alberta) late in the first as the Eagles led 2-1 after one.
Post put up six goals in the second period to break the game open. McHale and freshman
Tyler Hackett (Branford, Conn.) each scored twice in the frame. Junior
Christopher Harris (Barnstable, Mass.) added two assists, including a helper on a shorthanded goal by Smith that put the Eagles in front 8-1.
McHale completed the trick in the third for the Eagles' tenth goal of the night. Hackett added two assists in the period.
The Eagles held a 38-31 advantage in shots on the night and dominated the faceoff circle, winning 45 on the night led by Harris with 14 victories. Sophomore
Devin Day (Fontana, Calif.) made 29 saves on the night to pick up his first win in goal.
