Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer: Post Falls To Merrimack, 4-0.

Waterbury, Conn.  – The Post University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 game to Merrimack in an out-of-conference game on Monday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
 
Post is now 4-6-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
 
The Eagles fell behind early as Merrimack scored on goals from Gigi Guenther and Andrea Rego in the 4th and 5th minutes, respectively. Rego's goal came off a corner from Emily Maier.
 
In the 39th minute Sarah Boucher added in her own header on a corner from Amber Gustafon.
 
After halftime, Victoria Carter scored the final goal for the Warriors, splitting two defenders after a pass from Rego.
 
Sophomore Cailah Baranowski (Naugatuck, Conn.) finished with seven saves on the day for the Eagles.
 
Up next for Post is a CACC road game at Philadelphia on October 15 at noon.
