Waterbury, Conn. – The Post University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 game to Merrimack in an out-of-conference game on Monday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
Post is now 4-6-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
The Eagles fell behind early as Merrimack scored on goals from Gigi Guenther and Andrea Rego in the 4
th and 5
th minutes, respectively. Rego's goal came off a corner from Emily Maier.
In the 39
th minute Sarah Boucher added in her own header on a corner from Amber Gustafon.
After halftime, Victoria Carter scored the final goal for the Warriors, splitting two defenders after a pass from Rego.
Sophomore
Cailah Baranowski (Naugatuck, Conn.) finished with seven saves on the day for the Eagles.
